Program Overview

Target Audience: Mental health professionals, recovery coaches, spiritual teachers, group facilitators, wellness practitioners, and organizational leaders seeking to deliver spiritual intelligence education

 

Program Duration: 40 hours (8-week intensive + practicum)

 

Course Description: This professional certification program equips facilitators with the knowledge, skills, and materials necessary to deliver evidence-based spiritual intelligence training in diverse settings. Participants master the four-factor spiritual intelligence model, learn adult education principles specific to spiritual development, and gain practical experience facilitating transformative learning experiences. The program prepares trainers to deliver both the Foundational Spiritual Intelligence Training and the Recover on Purpose program while maintaining fidelity to the evidence-based model. Graduates receive comprehensive facilitator materials, ongoing support, and certification to teach spiritual intelligence under the Next Level Recovery and Spiritual Intelligence Institute frameworks.

Phase 1: Foundation Knowledge Mastery 

​Module 1.1: Deep Dive into Spiritual Intelligence Theory (8 hours)

 

Learning Objectives:

•    Master comprehensive understanding of the four-factor spiritual intelligence model

•    Analyze research foundations and evidence base

•    Distinguish spiritual intelligence from emotional intelligence and religious practice

•    Apply measurement and assessment tools

•    Articulate the model to diverse audiences

Module 1.2: The Facilitator's Personal Practice (6 hours)

•    Deepen personal spiritual intelligence capacities

•    Complete comprehensive SIQ Assessment with advanced interpretation

•    Identify personal growth edges as facilitator

•    Develop authentic teaching presence

•    Establish ongoing contemplative practice

 

 

Module 1.3: Program Architecture and Curriculum Design (6 hours)

•    Understand curriculum structure for both programs (Foundational and Recover on Purpose)

•    Master learning objectives and outcomes for each module

•    Utilize facilitator guides and participant materials

•    Adapt content for different audiences and settings

•    Maintain fidelity while allowing flexibility​

Phase 2: Adult Learning and Facilitation Excellence 

Module 2.1: Adult Learning Principles for Spiritual Development

  • Apply adult learning theory to spiritual intelligence education

  • Create transformative learning environments

  • Facilitate experiential and contemplative learning

  • Address diverse learning styles and needs

  • Measure learning outcomes effectively

Module 2.2: Group Facilitation Mastery

  • Facilitate engaging virtual and in-person spiritual intelligence programs

  • Manage group dynamics in spiritual learning contexts

  • Handle resistance, conflict, and difficult participants

  • Lead meditation and contemplative practices

  • Create inclusive and diverse learning communities

Module 2.3: Recovery-Specific Facilitation 

(For those planning to deliver Recover on Purpose)

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand unique considerations for recovery populations

  • Apply trauma-informed and harm-reduction approaches

  • Manage crisis situations and relapse discussions

  • Integrate spiritual intelligence with recovery principles

  • Create safe, non-judgmental recovery learning spaces

Phase 3: Practical Application and Skill Building 

Module 3.1: Technology and Platform Management

  • Manage program logistics and administration

  • Build sustainable programs and business models

Module 3.3: Teaching Demonstrations and Feedback

Phase 4: Practicum and Certification

Module 4.1: Supervised Practicum Experience

  • Create personal facilitation development plan

  • Receive certification and materials

  • Establish ongoing professional development commitment

Final Certification Requirements:

​

  1. Written Examination: Comprehensive test on spiritual intelligence model, facilitation principles, and program content (80% passing score)

  2. Facilitation Demonstration: Successfully co-facilitate 4 supervised sessions with competency ratings

  3. Integration Paper: 5-7 page reflection on personal journey, learning integration, and facilitation philosophy (pass/revise)

  4. Facilitator Portfolio: Compilation of session plans, reflections, and feedback documentation

  5. Attendance: 95% attendance across all training modules

  6. Personal Practice: Evidence of ongoing contemplative practice and personal spiritual intelligence development

 

Certification Awarded: Certified Spiritual Intelligence Facilitator (CSIF)

​

  • Authorization to deliver Foundational Spiritual Intelligence Training

  • Optional additional certification: Recover on Purpose Specialist (with recovery-specific modules)
